CHÝNOV CAVE

 

The Chýnov cave was discovered in 1863. It is the one of the biggest cave in the Czech Republic and the first Czech cave accessible to the public. Visitors won´t find typical stalactites and stalagmites, but many interesting formations created by water and various colors of marble, such as white, yellow and brown on the walls of the cave. The small stream with drinking water runs through the lowest part of the cave. The length of discovered tunnels is about 1200 but only 220 meters is accessible to the visitors.
